Vagator Beach, Goa
Vagator Beach is located at a distance of 20 kms from Panjim, state capital of Goa and is only about an hour’s drive from the Dabolim Airport. It is situated in the Bardez Taluk of Goa and is the northernmost beach in the region which is visited most regularly by western tourists.
The Vagator Beach is a crescent shaped beach with white sands, red cliffs, green hills, palm trees, rocky shores & beautiful blue seas adding to the scenic beauty of the beach. The beach itself is split into two beaches by a seaside headland, namely Big Vagator Beach and Little Vagator Beach. The Little Vagator Beach is much more secluded compared to the Big Vagator Beach and is also known as the Ozran Beach. The headland that divides the two beaches has several stalls selling clothes, ornaments, refreshments & snacks and also includes a car park within the area.
The beach also has a number of decent shacks providing nice food & drinks. Accommodations are provided by several resorts operating in the region with good facilities. The place is also well known for its rave parties, nightlife, beautiful sunsets and water sports.
